ハイマーク・マン

ハイマーク・マン（旧称ロビン・フッド・デル・ウェスト、マン・ミュージック・センター、マン・センター・フォー・ザ・パフォーミング・アーツ）は、フィラデルフィアのウェスト・フェアモント・パークのセンテニアル地区にある非営利の舞台芸術センターで、1976年にフィラデルフィア管弦楽団の夏の拠点として建設されました。フィラデルフィア管弦楽団が1930年から夏の公演を行っていたロビン・フッド・デル野外円形劇場の後継施設です。ハイマーク・マンの敷地内には、円形劇場、ハイマーク・マンTDパビリオン、そしてより小規模な野外ステージ、ハイマーク・マン・スカイライン・ステージがあります。

ハイマーク・マン劇場は、ミハイル・バリシニコフ率いるアメリカン・バレエ・シアター、マリアン・アンダーソン、レナード・バーンスタイン、ブエナ・ビスタ・ソシアル・クラブ、レイ・チャールズ、ジュディ・ガーランド、メトロポリタン歌劇場、モルモン・タバナクル合唱団、ポール・ロブソン、イツァーク・パールマン、ラン・ラン、ミドリ、ヨーヨー・マといったアーティストやツアーカンパニーを迎え入れてきました。フィラデルフィアでの主要な初演としては、イスラエル・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団、ボリショイ・バレエ団とオーケストラによる「スパルタカス」、英国ロイヤル・バレエ団による「ロミオとジュリエット」と「白鳥の湖」などが挙げられます。

Among the scores of award-winning popular artists presented by Highmark Mann in recent years are Celine Dion, Phish, Jack Johnson, Ed Sheeran, Tony Bennett, Mary J. Blige, Roger Daltrey, Bob Dylan, Furthur, Kesha, Lake Street Dive, Tame Impala, Arcade Fire, Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Herbie Hancock, Norah Jones, Diana Krall, Wynton Marsalis, Willie Nelson, Smokey Robinson, Jill Scott, James Taylor, Damien Rice, Blondie with Garbage, Sugarland and Stevie Ray Vaughan.

In 2010, 2011, and 2014, Highmark Mann was nominated by Pollstar, a concert industry trade publication, as "Best Major Outdoor Concert Venue" in North America. TD Pavilion at Highmark Mann has a total seating capacity of approximately 14,000, with 4,743 seats under the roof and over 8,600 outside.^[2] The Skyline Stage at Highmark Mann has a capacity of 6,500.

The present building first opened in 1976 as Robin Hood Dell West and subsequently was designated in 1979 the Mann Music Center in honor of Fredric R. Mann. In 2000, the facility was renamed to The Mann Center for the Performing Arts to reflect the center's plans to broaden its programming and service to the overall community.^[3] In 2025, signed a 12-year naming rights sponsorship deal with Pittsburgh-based insurance company, Highmark, renaming the facility as Highmark Mann Center for the Performing Arts.^[4]

ハイマーク・マン舞台芸術センターの教育・地域連携プログラムは、地域最大の無料教育プログラムであり、毎年5万人以上の若者にサービスを提供しています。ハイマーク・マンの毎年恒例の青少年コンサートシリーズでは、メインステージでの無料公演が行われ、フィラデルフィア地域の子供たちが舞台芸術プログラムに触れる機会を提供しています。コネクティング・アーツ・アンド・スクールズ・シリーズでは、ゲストアーティストが22の提携校に直接招かれ、ジュディス・ギトリン・アーツティーチ＠ザ・マン・プログラムには、アーティストとの交流、幼児向けファシネーション・シリーズ、グリーンフィールド・パフォーマンス・トレジャーズ、コネクティング・アーツ＠ザ・センター、アーティスト・イン・レジデンス、マスタークラスの6つのシリーズがあります。
