
中国の貨幣埋蔵一覧(中国語:繁体字:中國錢幣窖藏清單、中国語:中国钱币窖藏列表、ピンイン:zhōng guó qián bì jiào cáng liè biǎo )は、中国(中国大陸の中華人民共和国、香港、マカオ、および中華民国自由地域(台湾など))で発見された重要な考古学的 埋蔵貨幣、その他の種類の貨幣(銀貨など)、または貨幣に関連する物品の一覧である。中国の通貨の歴史は春秋時代(紀元前770年-476年)にまで遡り、最も古い貨幣は儀式の交換に使用されたタカラガイの模造品であった。戦国時代には、鋤銭、刀銭、銅合金の円形貨幣などの新しい形式の貨幣が導入されました(詳細については、周王朝の貨幣と古代中国の貨幣を参照してください)。紀元前221年に秦王朝による中国統一後、半貨幣が標準貨幣となり、漢王朝の下では五銖貨幣が中国の主要通貨となりましたが、唐王朝の間に開元通寳に置き換えられ、その後、中国の貨幣に多数の銘文が使用されるようになりました。19世紀後半には、中国は独自の機械鋳造貨幣の生産を開始しました。

中国では、シルクロードなどの国際貿易ルート、海外との貿易、植民地主義を通じてもたらされた外国の貨幣も時折発見されています。また、他国との貿易により、日本、韓国、[1]、ベトナム、[2] [3]などの近隣諸国や、エルチョ島、[4]、ケニア、[5] [6]、ユーコンなどの遠く離れた場所でも、大量の中国の貨幣が発見されています。[7]
2021年に河南省の遺跡で発見された古い造幣局に関する論文が発表された。放射性炭素年代測定により、そこで発見されたスペード貨幣は紀元前640年から紀元前550年までに作られたとされ、おそらく世界最古の造幣局であることが判明した。[8]これは、最も古い貨幣は一般に信じられているようにリディア人ではなく中国人によって発明された可能性があることを意味する。[8] [9]
中国の考古学者による硬貨の洗浄
中国の考古学者は、墓場で古代中国の貨幣やその他の歴史的通貨を頻繁に発掘しているが、これらの発掘された青銅貨幣は数百年、数千年もの間埋もれていたため、腐食がひどく、刻まれた文字が読めないこともある。[10]遺跡で作業する考古学者は、埋もれた文化遺産にダメージを与えないよう、あらゆる作業を非常にゆっくりと、できるだけ系統的に行う傾向があるが、貨幣については、墓や遺跡の年代を特定するのに非常に重要であることが多いため、このアプローチはとられない。[10]古代中国の貨幣については、考古学者は保存状態についてあまり気にせず、識別するために洗浄する傾向がある。[10]
中国の考古学者は青銅の硬貨を洗浄するために、酢のような弱酸性のものに2、3日間浸すだけで、表面の汚れや腐食がある程度除去されます。[10]次に洗浄者が硬貨を取り出し、(一般的な)爪楊枝を使って漢字に残った腐食を削り取ります。[10]この工程が終わると、出土した硬貨の拓本が作られるのが一般的です。 [10]
逆に、コイン収集家の間では、コインを洗浄しない方が良いと言われています。洗浄するとコインの市場価値が下がったり、場合によっては価値が下がってしまうからです。[10]
中国ではコインの埋蔵が頻繁に発見されるため、他の国から洗浄されていないコインの埋蔵が頻繁に中国に送られ、洗浄と評価が行われる。[11]たとえば、メキシコと中米の国グアテマラの国境で、約 400 種類の8 レアル硬貨の埋蔵が発見された。[11]これらの銀貨は主にグアテマラ造幣局で製造されたもので、メキシコ造幣局とリマ造幣局で製造されたものもあり、すべてに国王カルロス 4 世とフェルナンド 7 世の肖像画が描かれていた。[11]これらのコインはコイン収集家が「価値がある」と見なすには汚れが多すぎたため、中華人民共和国江蘇省のコインディーラーに送られた。 [11]中国のコインディーラーはコインから腐食を取り除き、貨幣学の専門家に等級付けさせて小売市場に販売する専門家になっているため、このような状況はよくある。[11]
