ハイランドブラシマウス（^学名： Abeomelomys sevia ）は、メンジーズマウスとも呼ばれ、^ネズミ科に属する齧歯類の一種である。ニューギニア高地（パプアニューギニア）固有種であり、標高2,000mを超える山地のコケ林や高山帯に生息している^。過去にはPogonomelomys属に分類されていたが、現在はAbeomelomys属に属する唯一の種である。

名前

パプアニューギニアのカラム語ではymgenm [jí.mɨŋɡé.nɨ́m] (またはyamganm [já.mɨŋɡá.nɨ́m] )として知られています。^[²^]
