Taj Bradley

The Tampa Bay Rays selected Bradley in the fifth round, 150th overall, of the 2018 MLB draft.^[2] He made his professional debut with the minor leagueGulf Coast League Rays with whom he pitched 23 innings and compiled a 5.09 ERA. Bradley spent the 2019 season with the minor league Princeton Rays of the Appalachian League where he went 2–5 with 3.18 over 11 starts and 12 total appearances.^[3] Bradley did not play in a game in 2020 due to the cancellation of the minor league season from the COVID-19 pandemic.^[4]

Bradley began the 2021 season with the Low-A EastCharleston RiverDogs where he went 9–3 with a 1.76 ERA over 14 starts before being promoted to the High-A EastBowling Green Hot Rods.^[5][6] Over eight starts with Bowling Green, he went 3–0 with a 1.96 ERA and 42 strikeouts over 36+1⁄3 innings.^[7][8] Bradley was assigned to the Double-AMontgomery Biscuits at the start of the 2022 season.^[9] He was selected to play in the 2022 All-Star Futures Game.^[10] Bradley was promoted to the Triple-ADurham Bulls following the conclusion of the MLB All-Star break.^[11] On November 15, 2022, the Rays added Bradley to their 40-man roster to protect him from the Rule 5 draft.^[12]
