スティコプラストリスは、1997年にJ.-P.ルドロフによって初めて記載された中米のタランチュラの属です。[2]

2020年5月現在、パナマ、ベリーズ、コスタリカ、エルサルバドル[アップデート]に8種が生息している。[1]
