Sarah Chang (actress)

Chang's first dabble into video production was doing stunt choreography for a music video in Taiwan. Her friend, Michael Tan, who was directing this music video, needed the video talents to learn some martial arts and called in Chang to help them out. Shortly after, she joined Jimmy Hung's action team, working on popular TV series in Taiwan such as My Crossing Hero and Moon River.

Chang later moved to Beijing to study acting at Central Academy of Drama and to explore more opportunities in film and television in China.  She also hosted two promotional videos for the Asia-Pacific Regional Network for Early Childhood in Beijing. This led her to direct “Sihuan Playgroup,” which won Best Overall Picture at Edutain Film Festival.

チャンは、ヴィンセント・ソベラノが脚本・監督を務め、数々の賞を受賞した『ブラッド・ハンターズ：ライズ・オブ・ザ・ハイブリッド』で初の長編映画主演を務めた。その後まもなく、孫愛国監督の中国映画『エクセレント・ドクター・フロム・ヘジアン』（2017年）で2作目の長編映画主演を務めた。^{[ 8 ] [ 9 ]}また、 『バービー：D'ワンダーベキ』（2017年）やカンヌ映画祭でプレミア上映された『ザ・トライゴナル：ファイト・フォー・ジャスティス』（2018年）などの長編映画にも出演した。^{[ 10 ]}チャンは、サイコホラー映画『サークル・オブ・ボーンズ』（2020年）で主演を務めた。

彼女は長編映画での役柄に加え、ワンダ・フィルムズとDJIスタジオが共同制作した大作短編映画『ザ・ティーチャー』 （2018年）や、小説を映画化した『ウィー・アー・ウォー』（2018年）など、受賞歴のある短編映画でも主演を務めた。

チャンは中国・天津のジャッキー・チェン・スタントチーム・トレーニングセンターでトレーニングを受けた後、マニラにSACHANGアクションデザインチームというスタントワイヤーリギングチームを設立し、フィリピンの『Gandarrapido: The Revengers Squad』（2017年） （ピア・ヴルツバッハのスタントダブルも務めた） 、『Last Night』（2017年）、『Barbi: D' Wonder Beki』（2017年）、『A Hard Day』（2018年）、『Sanggano, Sanggago't Sanggwapo』 （2018年）などの大ヒット映画にワイヤーリギングスタントを提供した。

武術選手権

チャンは世界武術選手権でアメリカ代表として出場した。チャンは最初の選考会に備えるため、週に最大6回、1日3時間のトレーニングを行った。^{[ 11 ]}
