メナ(ウクライナ語: Мена [ ˈmɛnɐ ])^ⓘ ) はウクライナのチェルニーヒウ州コリウキウカ地区にある都市です都市行政区の一つであるメナ都市行政区の行政機関が置かれています。 ^{[ 1 ]}人口:10,935人 (2022年推計)。 ^{[ 2 ]}

1066年に初めて記録に登場したメナは、13世紀まで重要な交易拠点であり、要塞として機能していました。その後、この町はタバコ栽培の中心地となり、そこから周辺のチェルニーヒウ州やポルタヴァ州へと広がっていきました。ソ連時代には、町にタバコ発酵工場が稼働していました。1959年には人口が7400人に達しました。^{[ 3 ]}

2020年7月18日まで、メナはメナ地区の行政中心地でした。この地区は、ウクライナの行政改革の一環として2020年7月に廃止され、チェルニーヒウ州の地区の数は5つに減りました。メナ地区の区域はチェルニーヒウ地区とコリウキウカ地区に分割され、メナはチェルニーヒウ地区に移管されました。^{[ 4 ] [ 5 ]}

メナはコリキフスキー地区の南部に位置しています。メナから地区の中心までは31km  、地域の中心までは69km  、キエフまでは208kmです 。市の総面積は^15.33km2 です。^{[ 6 ] [ 7 ]}

メナの領土はドニエプル低地に位置している。市の地表の地形は低地である。メナ市はメナ川（デスナ川の支流）の岸辺に位置している。^{[ 8 ] [ 9 ]}

メナの気候は穏やかな大陸性気候で、夏は暖かく、冬は比較的穏やかです。1月の平均気温は約-7  ℃、7月は+19  ℃です。年間平均降水量は550～580mmで 、夏季に最も多くなります。^{[ 10 ] [ 11 ]}

The most common are sod-podzolic and gray forest soils. The Mena is located in the natural zone of mixed forests, in Polissya. The main species in the forests are pine, oak, alder, ash, birch.^[6][7]

As of the 2001 Ukrainian census, Mena had a population of 12,590 inhabitants, which decreased to 10,935 in early 2022. The ethnic and linguistic makeup of the town's population was as follows:^[12][13]

The Mena agriculture specializes in growing grain, oilseed and industrial crops, and producing livestock products - milk, meat, eggs. The city has a developed woodworking industry and food industry.There is a mineral water well located on the territory of the city, which provides the operation of the mineral water plant.^[14][15][16]
