Aciantheraは西半球の熱帯地域、特にブラジルに自生するランの属です。 [1 ] [2] 1842年に初めて記載されましたが[3]、最近まで広く認識されていませんでした。ほとんどの種は以前はPleurothallis亜属Aciantheraに分類されていました。この分割は最近のDNA配列解析の結果です。
