16 ペルセイ座

16 ペルセウスは、北天のペルセウス座にある単一の^{[ 12 ]}変光星^[⁶^]で、視差に基づくと地球から約121光年離れています。^[¹^]肉眼では黄白色の星として見え、視等級は4.22です。^[²^]この天体は太陽中心からの視線速度+14 km/sで地球から遠ざかっています。^[⁷^]比較的高い固有運動を示し、天球を横切る速度は年間0.224インチ。 ^{[ 13 ]}

F2 III という恒星分類に基づくと、^{[ 3 ]}これは中心部の水素を使い果たし、主系列から進化している老齢の巨星に一致します。脈動するデルタスクティ変光星の可能性もありますが、この分類には多少の不確実性があります。^[⁶^]しかし、Kunzli と North (1998) は変動を発見しませんでした。^[¹⁵^]この星は 14.4^億^歳で、太陽の 1.8^倍の質量^と^3.2倍の半径を^持ちます。[ 8 ] 投影された回転速度は 149 km/s で、高い回転速度を示しており^、^[³ ]極半径^より²⁴^%大きいと推定される赤道膨らみを引き起こしています。^[¹⁶^] 16 ペルセウスは、有効温度7,004 Kで、光球から太陽の23 ^[²^]倍の光度を放射している。 ^[¹⁰^]

2 つの視覚的伴星が報告されている。B は等級 12.8、分離角 76.7 インチ、C は等級 10.43、分離角 234 インチである。^{[ 17 ]}
