WD 0806−661

WD 0806−661 ( L 97-3、GJ 3483 )、正式にはMaruと名付けられ、^{[ 12 ]}は、地球から62.7光年(19.2パーセク)離れた星座Volansにある、極めて低温のY 型準恒星伴星 (「B」と指定)を持つ DQ 型白色矮星です。この伴星は 2011 年に発見され、恒星または恒星残骸の唯一の Y 型伴星として知られています。発見当時、WD 0806-661 B は、既知の惑星質量天体の中で最大の実際の距離 (2500 AU) と見かけ上の距離 (2分角以上) を持ち、また、当時知られていた最も低温の直接撮像された準恒星天体でした。

WD 0806-661 B

WD 0806-661 Bは、2011 年にスピッツァー宇宙望遠鏡で発見されました。その発見は、Luhman et al., 2011 の論文で発表されました。伴星の質量は 7 ～ 9 M _J、温度は325 ～ 350 ケルビン (52 ～ 77 °C、125 ～ 170 °F)です。^[⁸^]発見当時、WD 0806−661 B はこれまで発見された中で最も低温の「褐色矮星」でした。 ^[¹¹^]この天体は暗すぎてハッブル宇宙望遠鏡でもスペクトルを取得できませんが、近赤外線波長でのハッブル画像での検出に基づいて、この天体のスペクトル型は Y1 と推定されています。^[⁶^]この天体の測光色は、金属欠乏を示唆しています。伴星の金属欠乏組成は、主星の白色矮星のスペクトル型がDQ型であることを説明できるかもしれない。^[⁸^]水素欠乏AGB星は、冷却されるにつれてDB型白色矮星、そしてDQ型白色矮星へと進化する可能性がある。 ^[¹³^]

2022年8月、WD 0806-661とその惑星質量の伴星は、第3回NameExoWorldsプロジェクトで命名される20のシステムの中に含まれた。 ^{[ 14 ]}韓国のチームによって提案された承認された名前は、 2023年6月に発表された。WD 0806-661とその伴星は、韓国語のMaru（마루）とAhra（아라 ）にちなんで名付けられた。^{[ 12 ]}
