キム・ナヨン（女優）

2016年1月、キム・ナヨンは、Mnetプロジェクトのガールズグループでデビューするチャンスをかけて、練習生仲間のキム・セジョン、カン・ミナと共にリアリティサバイバル番組「PRODUCE 101」にジェリーフィッシュエンターテインメント代表として出演した。 ^{[ 4 ]} 3人は番組の第1話で「グループA」に割り当てられ、キムは数回にわたって1位を獲得した。^{[ 5 ] [ 6 ]}キム・ナヨンは、シーズン14位の出場者だった。

キム・ナヨンは、2016年6月10日にジェリーフィッシュエンターテインメントの新人ガールズグループのメンバーとして、ナヨンという芸名で発表された。^{[ 7 ]} 6月13日、ジェリーフィッシュエンターテインメントは、このグループが9人組であることを明らかにした。^{[ 8 ]} 6月17日、ジェリーフィッシュエンターテインメントは、グループ名をググダンと発表した。^{[ 9 ]} 6月22日、ググダンが「人魚」コンセプトでデビューすることが確認された。グループのデビューミニアルバムのハイライトメドレーは6月24日にリリースされた。ナヨンは、タイトル曲「ワンダーランド」を収録したミニアルバム「Act. 1 The Little Mermaid」で、2016年6月28日にググダンとしてデビューした。彼女はグループのメインボーカルの1人として位置づけられた。^{[ 10 ]}

ググダンは2017年2月27日に2枚目のミニアルバム『 Act.2 Narcissus』とそのタイトル曲「A Girl Like Me」をリリースした。^{[ 11 ]}同年、ナヨンはOnStyleの美容系バラエティ番組のレギュラー司会者となった。 ^{[ 12 ]}また、2017年には映画『20世紀の子ども』にカメオ出演した。 11月8日、ググダンはタイトル曲「チョココ」を収録した初のシングルアルバム『Act.3 Chococo Factory』をリリースした。^{[ 13 ]}

同グループは2018年2月1日にセカンドシングルアルバム『Act.4 Cait Sith』をリリースし、リードシングルは「The Boots」だった。^{[ 14 ]}

2018年6月、ナヨンは同じくPRODUCE 101出身のミナとセジョンと共にGugudanの2番目のサブユニットに加入した。そのユニットはGugudan SeMiNa（韓国語：구구단 세미나）と名付けられた。^{[ 15 ]}「SeMiNa」という名前はメンバーの名前の最初の音節で構成されている。彼女たちは2018年7月10日にシングル「SeMiNa」でデビューした。^{[ 16 ] [ 17 ] [ 18 ]} 

9月19日、gugudanは初の日本シングル「Stand By」をリリースし、日本での正式デビューを果たした。その2日後の9月21日、東京赤坂ブリッツにてデビューショーケース＆ファンミーティング「gugudan 1st Showcase & Fanmeeting 'Dear Friend'」を開催した。^{[ 19 ] [ 20 ]}

ググダンは11月6日に3枚目のシングルアルバム「Act.5 New Action」をリリースした。リードシングル「Not That Type」を含む6曲が収録されている。^{[ 21 ] [ 22 ]}ミニアルバムのプロモーション期間終了後、グループ初の単独コンサート「Gugudan 1st Concert Play」が12月1日と2日にソウル市西大門区の梨花女子大学講堂で開催された。グループはさらに、2018年12月7日に大阪と東京を皮切りに初の日本ツアーを開始した。^{[ 23 ]}

Nayoung embarked on her acting career by venturing into the world of musicals. On April 19, 2019, it was announced that Nayoung would be part of the cast for the musical Mephisto. She shared the role of Marghetta with Sunwoo and Minji Lim from the group Fiesta. The musical took place at Gwanglim Art Center BBCH Hall from May 25 to July 28.^[24]

In 2019, Nayoung debuted in the theater play 'Why Did You Come to My House,' a romantic comedy about a man and a woman with different nationalities and personalities who end up sharing a house. Nayoung played the role of Seo Jae-hee, a charismatic woman with a hidden sadness. The play ran for six months at Daehakro from September to March. Nayoung expressed her worries about her first theatrical experience but successfully completed the play with the support of fans, fellow actors, and the dedicated Staff.^[25]

As Gugudan kicked off the start of their fourth year, the group's number of activities began to decline drastically and they entered their unofficial hiatus era. On December 30, 2020, it was announced that Gugudan officially disbanded after two years without group's activities. Their final schedule was completed on December 31, 2020.^[26] Jellyfish also announced that all of the members would stay with the company.^[27]

On her personal social media account, Nayoung made an announcement regarding the termination of her contract with Jellyfish Entertainment, effective from March 31, 2021.^[28] Following this, she held a solo performance titled "Nayoung's Sweet Summer Day&Night" on June 27, 2021. Gugudan Hana and Haebin participated in the performance as special guests.^[29]

On January 3, 2022, it was announced that Kim has signed a contract with Good Man Story and would be promoting using her birth name Kim Na-young moving forward.^[30] The same year, Nayoung joined the musical Gwangju, which is based on the May 1980 Gwangju Uprising, a pro-democracy movement. The musical depicts the passionate struggle of ordinary citizens to protect their everyday lives. It premiered in early 2019, marking the 40th anniversary of the pro-democracy movement, and received high praise as the Les Misérables of Asia. Nayoung portrays Jung Hwa-in, a caring and warm-hearted music teacher who runs a music school and takes care of students and citizen soldiers. The musical opened on April 15 at the CJ Towol Theater in the Seoul Arts Center.^[31]

2022年12月、制作会社アークカンパニーは、著名なロシアの劇作家アントン・チェーホフ作の戯曲『かもめ』の全キャストを発表した。キム・ナヨンはオーディションに合格し、トレブレフへの報われない恋に苦しむマーシャ役を演じた。彼女はシン・ドヒョンとダブルキャストだった。^{[ 32 ]}キム・ナヨンは公演開始から1週間以内に、その豊かな演技で称賛された。^{[ 33 ]}

2023年10月、キム・ナヨンが『幸せを叶える』のキャストの一員として発表された。この作品は、2019年の戯曲『夢の中の記憶』を韓国を舞台に翻案したものである。キム・ナヨンは、非常に競争率の高い非公開オーディションに合格し、ソウルで心優しいキム・ウジンという男性と運命的に出会う美術館の学芸員、イ・ウンス役にキャスティングされた。キム・ナヨンはキム・スルギとこの役を分担した。彼らは、写真家になることを夢見るキム・ウジン役で3人共演するキム・ソンホ、イ・ドンハ、アン・ウヨンと共演している。 ^{[ 34 ] [ 35 ]}
