ブータンのチウォグ(ゾンカ語:སྤྱི་འོག་ chio )は、ブータンにある1044の基本選挙区を指す。チウォグは、かつてはブータンの行政区分(ゲウォグ)の下位の第3レベルの行政区画だった。2009年までは、村や集落の集まりを含む市町村や教区に相当した。通常、各地域には5つか6つのチオがあり、各ゾンカ(地区)には複数の地域がある。例えば、パロ県だけで50のチオがある。チオの大部分は小さな農村コミュニティであり、人口密度の高い地域では別のトロンデ(自治体)になる傾向がある。一部のチオには、地域災害に効果的に対応するためのチウォグ災害管理計画(CDMP)が存在する。[1]多くの場合、CDMPの参加者はより良い調整のために地理レベルでも訓練を受けます。[2]
法的地位
2009年まで、キオスはジオに従属する行政区画であった。[3] [4] 2008年憲法では、キオスは選挙区としてのみ言及されており、「ゲウォグの下にある」と定義されているが、キオスの行政上の地位を明確に廃止したわけではない。[5] 2008年選挙法では、キオスはジオ内の基本的な選挙区であり、ジオ・ツォクデ(郡委員会)とゾンカ・トロンデ(地区議会)の議員1名を選出する。[6]選挙区としてのキオスの法的地位は、 2007年地方自治法を廃止し、キオスに行政上の役割を与えない2009年地方自治法によって確認されている。[4]
