Bagropsis reinhardtiは、長いひげを持つナマズの一種です。 [1]この種の標準体長は約 22.7 cm (8.9 インチ) で、ブラジル固有種であり、サン フランシスコ川流域のDas Velhas 川流域で見られます。 [2]ブラジル環境省によって絶滅危惧種とされています。 [3]
バグロプシスは「Calophysus - Pimelodus系統群」に分類される。この系統群では、Pimelodus 科の「Pimelodus グループ」の一部と考えられており、このグループには、Pimelodus、Exallodontus、Duopalatinus、Cheirocerus、Iheringichthys、Bergiaria、Parapimelodus、Platysilurus、Platystomatichthys、およびPropimelodusも含まれる。[4]
