2wiceは、コンテンポラリーダンス、視覚芸術、舞台芸術に特化した学際的な雑誌です。パッツィー・ターは2wiceの創設者兼編集長であり、 2wice Arts Foundationの代表です。2wice Arts Foundationはニューヨーク市に拠点を置いています。 [1]この雑誌は、ペンタグラムのJ・アボット・ミラーによってデザインされ、共同編集されています。この雑誌は1997年に創刊されました。
2wice以前にも、ターとアボットは同様の役割で協力し、1989年から1996年まで発行された季刊誌『Dance Ink』を創刊していた。 [2]
2wiceの出版社は他にも『Mah Jongg』、[3] 『False Start』、[4] 『Green World: Merce Cunningham』、[5] 『Everybody Dance Now』、[6] 『Geoffrey Beene and John Kelly 』、iPadアプリ『Merce Cunningham Event』を出版している。[7] 『Dance 2wice 』は2004年に2wiceのエッセイ集として出版された。[8] 2009年にはニューヨークのAIGAで『 Everybody Dance Now 』展が開催された。この展覧会ではタールとミラーのコラボレーションによる作品が展示された。[9]
この雑誌は2006年に出版デザイナー協会から「年間最優秀雑誌」に選ばれました。この雑誌はサンフランシスコ近代美術館のコレクションにも収蔵されています。[10]
