スカンディアは、カナダのアルバータ州ニューウェル郡にある集落です。^{[ 2 ]}ハイウェイ36号線の西2キロメートル（1.2マイル）、ブルックスの南西約34キロメートル（21マイル）に位置しています。

歴史

カナダ太平洋鉄道のキャシルズ南支線は、全長23.4マイルで、 1927年から1928年にかけてキャシルズからスカンディアまで建設された。^{[ 3 ]}

人口統計

カナダ統計局が実施した2021年の国勢調査によると、スカンディアには56戸の民間住宅のうち52戸に169人が居住しており、2016年の人口146人から15.8%増加。土地面積は0.19 km ²(0.073平方マイル)で、人口密度は 2021年には889.5/km² ^（2,303.7/平方マイル）であった。 ^[¹^]

ニューウェル郡が実施した2020年の市町村国勢調査によると、スカンディアの人口は169人である。 ^{[ 18 ]}

カナダ統計局が実施した2016年国勢調査で指定地域となったスカンディアには、全54戸の民間住宅のうち43戸に146人が居住しており、2011年の人口154人から-5.2%減少した。土地面積は0.19 km ²(0.073平方マイル)で、人口密度は 768.4/km² (1,990.2/sq mi) in 2016.^[17]
