インバート賞は2005年に創設され、英国におけるリスクとセキュリティ管理の発展のためのアイデアの開発に対してセキュリティコンサルタント協会（ASC）によって毎年授与されています。^[1]

この賞は3つのカテゴリーに分かれています: ^[2]

最優秀学術論文
前年度のセキュリティ業界における最も顕著な貢献
独立系セキュリティコンサルティングに最も大きな貢献をした ASC メンバー。

この賞は、ASC のパトロンであり、 1987 年から 1993 年までスコットランドヤードの長官を務め、セキュリティと警察活動に関する議論で著名な人物であったインバート卿にちなんで名付けられました。インバート卿は、ギルフォード 4 人組の不当逮捕への関与で最も有名です。
