Drusaはセリ科に属する顕花植物の単型属である。Drusa glandulosaという1種が知られている。 [1]
原産地はマカロネシア（カナリア諸島とマデイラ諸島）、モロッコ、ソマリアです。[1]
この属名はフランスの牧師で植物学者のアンドレ・ピエール・ルドリュ（1761-1825）にちなんで付けられました。[2]この植物は1807年にフランスの植物学者オーギュスタン・ピラミュス・ド・カンドルによってAnn. Mus. Hist. Nat. Vol.10の466ページに発表され、記載されました。[1]
Drusa glandulosa (Poir.) H.Wolff ex Engl.には以下のシノニムがある: Bowlesia glandulosa (Poir.) Kuntze、Bowlesia oppositifolia Buch、Drusa glandulosa f. glaucescens G.Kunkel、Drusa oppositifolia DC. およびSicyos glandulosus Poir. [3]
