WSコックスプレートは、オーストラリアのグループ 1 (G1)、年齢別重量制 サラブレッド競馬です。ムーニー バレー レーシング クラブが主催するこのレースは、3 歳以上の馬が対象です。
- 1922年から1942年までのレース距離は9½ハロンでした。
- 1943年から1971年までのレース距離は10ハロンでした。
- 1972年にオーストラリアがメートル法を採用したことを受けて、レースの距離は2,000メートルになりました。
- 1974年に距離は2,050メートルに変更され、1986年に現在の2,040メートルに変更されました。
- † 1946 年の Cox Plate は 2 つの部門で開催されました。
