アプリカティブプログラミング言語

プログラミング言語の分類において、アプリカティブプログラミング言語は、引数に適用される関数から構成されます。アプリカティブ言語は関数型であり、アプリカティブはしばしば関数型の同義語として使用されます。^[²^]ただし、連結型言語は、アプリカティブではないものの、関数型である場合があります。^[³^]

アプリカティブ言語のセマンティクスは項のベータ縮約に基づいており、状態の変更などの副作用は許可されていません。^[⁴^]

LispとMLは、アプリケーションプログラミング言語である。
